Emerging industries such as LED encounter "leftover women c
popularity:Time of publication:2020-05-16
During this period, reporters in Zhejiang some enterprises research industry transformation and upgrading. Some enterprises that produce LED lighting reflect that in recent years, due to fierce competition and overcapacity, the days of enterprises are getting more and more difficult. Hearing this, I couldn't help being confused. LED is a strategic emerging industry in the eyes of the common people. Many families in China haven't had time to "taste it". How can they "lose their looks and become" leftover women "?
LED is called the fourth generation light source. Compared with traditional light source, it has incomparable advantages. However, it's surprising to see the data. As early as 2013, there was a saying that the LED industry had excess capacity. However, LED lighting has entered a rapid growth period in China, which has not been several years.
Similar to the "leftover women crisis", there is also the photovoltaic industry. China's photovoltaic industry has experienced great development after the world financial crisis. Many places support photovoltaic industry as a new strategic industry, and a large number of enterprises have invested heavily. But in less than two years, there was a serious "overcapacity". Some leading enterprises went out of business. Many enterprises and capital entered behind, invested money and built factories, did not turn around and suffered heavy losses.
From the reality, the domestic market potential of LED lamps in China is huge. Whether it is new buyers, stock of household use, or the use of light sources in public places, there is a demand for lamp replacement. The shortage of traditional energy reserves also makes the market of photovoltaic and other emerging energy broad.
The reason for the "premature decline" of emerging industries is the result of the neglect of "supply side" reform. For the development of emerging industries, it is right at first to protect the enthusiasm of production enterprises, but later, we can not blindly encourage production and ignore the consumer market. Especially in the past, some industrial policies, such as supporting production, supporting technology and supporting supply, often ignored demand, resulting in a serious imbalance between supply and demand in the market.
For example, many places subsidize and support production enterprises, but there is no subsidy to encourage consumers to purchase and use LEDs. When promoting the use of energy-saving lamps in Europe and the United States, consumers are subsidized. As the consumer market expands and spreads, production will still be promoted.
To increase the "supply side" reform of innovation, we should not simply choose to list several industries as emerging strategic industries to support, but more encourage innovation and the application of new technologies. For example, Internet technology can be reformed through all sectors of the industry through the "Internet plus" approach, including those that are labor-intensive industries, which can substantially increase productivity. Innovate the mode of production, change the relationship between supply and demand, so as to improve international competitiveness. Only by keeping the supply side reform in line with the actual needs of consumers, can traditional industries be rejuvenated and new industries not be "premature".
